Joef’s Band originated in San Diego, California when the guitarist, composer and vocalist, Joseph Fargier started to work with Dusty Brough, jazz guitarist and together found a new way of interpret gypsy music by blending the sounds of rumba flamenco, bossanova and jazz.
Later, the band was completed when Ryan brought his unique violin music to the group that added the sound of traditional gypsy Balkan music.
Inspired by the positive reception from the public that listened to them playing together for the first time, Fargier composed a series of songs that now are in their first album.
The character of the band is defined by the diversity of its acoustic sounds and its lyrics in different languages including Spanish, French, and Italian that give it a touch of unquestionable European influence.

The vagabond spirit of the band encourages its members to travel and discover different life styles that provide musical inspiration that will be available in its new album that will debut in September 2010.
